These are absolutely adorable! Did it take more than one skein of thread to do the cat? My mil is going to stitch that one and had me get her thread for her and now I am wondering if I should get another skein.

I did it on 14 count aida not the linen it called for and I used 3 or 4 skeins I think. I used overdyed thread not DMC.

It was hard to chose which animal to stitch. Great to stitch Cat and Mouse. It's lovely

Thanks for answering my question, Jan. I am going to go pick up more thread tomorrow. I bought wildflowers, and only two skeins, thinking I would have enough for my mother-in-law and myself. I can see that won't quite work now, lol!
