Quaker Needlework Book
As the recipient already got it, I can show you the needlework book that I create for a Quaker Exchange in the Legacy Forum.

The design is a freebie, Quaker Paix, from Carinne's web page, that I downloaded in 2005; the finishing idea is mine. I used linen 32ct in Antique White and DMC threads in colors # 931 and 3828.
More pictures and details in my blog: MAGICXSTITCH

Thanks for looking :)

A gift for Giulia
I haven´t been posting lately, too much work and few time for stitching, but I want to share with you a little Quaker Sample that I made for Giulia Manfredini, italian designer of Giulia Punti Antichi.
I designed this sampler, using different quaker motifs from my quaker collection, as a gift for her in our get together this week. I placed the sampler in the lid of a leather box. You can see more picture of this sampler and us, in my blog posted on July 17th: Magicxstitch

I used linen 40ct, in color antique white, stitched 1x2 with Gloriana's silks.

Thanks for looking & Happy stitching day!!

Quaker poll result and SAL
So, that's the result of the past Quaker poll.

It seems most members would partecipate to a WB quaker animals exchange. So, the one interested, please e-mail me here: Dolci Fusa mail
your address and a hypothetical deadline.
Once I'll collect all the partecipants, I'll update everyone and the blog with the effective deadline. You will only know who you will have to send your quaker animal, not from who.

Another news is the new SAL.
As the last SAL was almost forsaken (only Edgar has a concrete WIP), it's time to stitch something together.
I don't want to propose any pattern for now, let's see what you suggest. Leave a comment in this thread.
Only a thing: a small-medium size pattern, please!

Deliri notturni...

Night rave
An idea came to me this early morning: stitch a tablerunner with the quaker animals of The Workbasket alongside the borders. Who wants to join me (as a second SAL after My Quaker House)?
