Quaker Strawberry kitted up
This is my choice for the Quaker Christmas ornaments SAL:
Quaker Strawberry by
Blackbird Designs, from JCS Christmas Issue 2006.
I've chosen a
Silkweaver lugana opalescent colour Jamaica Sparkle,
but I'm undecided about the silk thread.
Can you help me to choose one?
Thank you in advance,

Working on Mary WIgham
Finally back to her after a poor start. She is in the rotation and I will be working on her every Sunday. Stitching along with a Quaker. She is done on Vintage Buttercream by Lakeside Linens using the Attic's Conversion to Belle Soie. I am hoping to get more done today so I can say I have done more than just start.

Wiehenberg Christmas Quaker

Progress on my Wiehenberg Christmas Quaker is slow as I am stitching in one thread of DMC 777 over one thread of 28 count Cashel Antique White linen. Of the 28 page chart - here I am at page 4 complete!

Hi everyone!
I just joined this blog. My name is Paula Shelgren and I live in Wichita, Kansas. I love Quaker designs and I am working on Quaker Christmas by ByGone Stitches. I am doing it on 28 ct.Platinum Lugana over 2. I am doing the main motifs in DMC 905, the little motifs around the larger one in Threadworx 10611, the red is 321, have not got to the gold yet so I haven't decided yet.

Quaker Garden - Blackbird Designs SAL
Until the last week wasn't able to start my project for the Quaker Blackbird's SAL, first I wanted to finish some projects that I have a deadline on them.
For this SAL , I chose to stitch Quaker Garden. I'm not using the recommended fabric and threads, I'm using materials from my stash:

Fabric is a linen 28ct Willow Green; the threads are from Dragon Floss, Needle Necessities and DMC.

Milady's Little Quakers Ruler Pocket Update

I have made some progress - only half the last side to do and then the construction about which Iam rather nervous. I have so enjoyed this - the colours are lovely and it has been really relaxing - except for the long lines of navy crosses!

Finally making progress

I am over half way done on Beatrix Potter. I am enjoying stitching it, just not enough hours in the day.

slow going...

Hello friends,
Just wanted to share a quick shot of my Ann Grimshaw sampler with you. Progress has been slow due to other projects I've been working on, vacation and nursing my husband after his knee surgery just two days ago. No matter, in these hectic times, one stitch done is one stitch closer to completion...
cheers from wet and muggy Holland,
heidi

first stitches...
Hello!
It's a glorious afternoon here, after a very dark and rainy day.
What a better thing to do while it's raining cats and dogs than to start a new project?
Here's the start of the Ann Grimshaw sampler:

It doesn't look like much now, but hopefully it'll look like a sampler soon. I began in the upper right-hand corner.
I would like to mark my progress on my blog, and have seen several on the blogs that I read: does anyone know how to do that? and if so, would you please tell me how?
Materials used:
S & S Linen - 14 count per cm/35 count per inch
DMC # 3010
golden #28 needles
oh...and...does anyone know how to cross-post? That is writing a post on one blog and that it automatically goes to another blog
