LOOSE FEATHERS
I decided that Rites of Spring from Loose Feathers would be my SAL. I started it last year-just a few stitches-and hopefully now will complete it. I had done the right branch and birds. This is what I've done so far. The colors are wonderful!

Quaker Medallion Sampler
Hi everybody, I've been following this blog for some time. I love quakers but it hasn't been until now that I've stitched one. Well, in fact, it is not finished, I'm on it right now. Yo cannot see much right now, but I'll publish new pictures periodically.
I'm stitching it on 35ct white linen (2/2).
I'm glad to be here with you. Have a nice day.

TaaDaah!
Hello friends,
I'm so pleased to share with you my first ever sampler and Quaker finish!
Hannah Beeby was so much fun to stitch and went quite quickly - not difficult to do when my sewing room is filled with stuff from the attic while it's getting a complete re-do, leaving my quilting on hold for a while.
So there's nothing else for it but to pick up the needle again, and continue where I left off with Ann Grimshaw 1818. Poor me! LOL!!
cheers,

Christmas Quaker Page 2 and others
I had a marathon Quaker weekend and made good progress on my two projects.
The Wiehenburg Christmas Quaker is looking really good but doing one over one is taxing on the patience and the eyes. There are two white snow flakes to go in and I am thinking of using the new sparkly DMC. What do you think?
Milady's Quaker Pocket is gorgeous. I am loving this one and it's no chore to stitch for ages on this.

Happy New Year, Everyone
Sorry, I've only just got around to posting my Christmas SAL but I've had numerous illnesses over the holiday period but hopefully on the road to recovery now.
My lovely reindeer was stitched on 28 count natural Quaker fabric using lovely rich brown variegated hand dyed cotton from 21st Century Yarns - a yarn company I came across at the Harrogate show. I bought a number of colours from them to use on further Quaker stitching.
I certainly have lots of inspiration now as hubby bought me Quaker Schoolgirl Samplers from Ackworth and Quaker Pinballs for Christmas. So my only excuse now is a lack of time unless someone can point me to a store that sells a longer day!

Quaker Snowman
I decided to stitch on an ornament for the Quaker Inspired SAT yesterday. This is Silly Snowman, a freebie from the
Be-Stitched blog. I'm stitching it on some 35-count linen with 1 strand of white silk floss from
Hand-Dyed Fibers (1 strand over 2).

New Years Start
This year started with making a list of what stitching I must do and top of the list was the new Quaker Christmas from Martina at the Wiehenburg Samplers Group. It is amazing.
I am stitching in one thread of the recommended DMC floss over one fabric thread of Antique White 28 count Cashel linen.

Beatrix Potter Start
I started my Beatrix Potter's Quaker yesterday--it's my "New Stitch for the New Year" this year. I'll be working on it for our SAL until it's finished--I'm determined not to let it languish as a WIP for years, slowly turning into a UFO!
I'm stitching it with Vikki Clayton's Fish Pepper-ika floss, on her 35-count undyed linen. Here's a picture of what I got done at my father-in-law's house last evening:
