Quaker Garden - Blackbird Designs SAL
Until the last week wasn't able to start my project for the Quaker Blackbird's SAL, first I wanted to finish some projects that I have a deadline on them.

For this SAL , I chose to stitch Quaker Garden. I'm not using the recommended fabric and threads, I'm using materials from my stash:
Fabric is a linen 28ct Willow Green; the threads are from Dragon Floss, Needle Necessities and DMC.

For more details, check my blog: Magicxstitch.

Happy stitching!!

Quaker Schoolgirl Needle Necessities
This is a project that I finished the last year, in October, and forgot to share with you. Worked as a SAL leaded for me from my blog MagicXstitch.
I made some changes to the original finishing design to match my taste. I also created a scissor's fob to complement the set and used silver bottoms to close the pieces.

Design: Quaker Schoolgirl Needle Necessities
Designer: With My Needle
Fabric & floss: Belfast Linen (32ct) Raw, Silk thread Soie Cristale Caron Collection #7071 Williamsburg Blue and DMC Perle #822.
For the lining: Moda Fabric, Madeira Collection for Blackbird Designs
Stitched by: Mayté
For: MagicXstitch QSNN SAL- 2008

Milady's Little Quakers Ruler Pocket Update
I have made some progress - only half the last side to do and then the construction about which Iam rather nervous. I have so enjoyed this - the colours are lovely and it has been really relaxing - except for the long lines of navy crosses!

Quaker Needlework Book
As the recipient already got it, I can show you the needlework book that I create for a Quaker Exchange in the Legacy Forum.

The design is a freebie, Quaker Paix, from Carinne's web page, that I downloaded in 2005; the finishing idea is mine. I used linen 32ct in Antique White and DMC threads in colors # 931 and 3828.
More pictures and details in my blog: MAGICXSTITCH

Thanks for looking :)
