Finally, I completed this SAL "Quaker a 6 Mains", that has been taken almost 3 months and I really proud of myself for finishing my first Quaker SAL.

Then I have been looking for new Quaker project, I found it from Needle Print website Quaker School Girl Ackworth Mary Wigham Sample. You can download from the site with Just $1 donation. I really like this chart. Is somebody stitching this project?

This was my Quaker a 6 Mains week 2 progress!
I was so surprised that I started to use a plastic square frame from last week,
(never used before...)
it was very good and easy to handle it, so I can not go back to wooden hoops.

Shall I get bigger one for this project ?????

Hi, my name is Sagami, living in London, UK and I have joined in Quaker Inspired last week!
I really has been inspired by Quaker style design and just started

I've been AWOL for far too long--and with no Quaker stitching going on! But I'm back, and last night I picked up my Quaker a Six Mains for the first time in over a year. I don't know why I ever stopped stitching on it, but maybe it's because the DMC linen floss is a bit of a bear to work with. No matter, I'm glad to be stitching on it again. This is my Tuesday rotation project until it's finished!

I did find a counting error, so next week I'll have to break out the blocking board, the pins, and do some very precise counting to find the error and to determine what I'm going to do to correct it.

It's good to be back.

It seems that A Mon Ami Pierre was the pattern of choice over the Easter holiday. I have seen quite a few finishes on various blogs using the large freebie pattern "Quaker a 6 Mains". Here is my interpretation made up as a needle book. The design is stitched with Needle Necessities "Bali Hai" on 28 count cream linen. It is finished with light blue cording. The pages are blanket stitched using Bali Hai and are made of felt.

Veronica invited me to join you and as I've come to love Quakers I'm very happy to be here!

I'm stitching Carriage House Sampling's Quaker Stocking at the moment and I want to start Beatrix Potter's Quaker Sampler before too long. I'm also in a Quaker RR with some lovely ladies :)

Anyway, I thought you might like to see my main Quaker finishes...

First was Blackbird Design's Quaker Garden, stitched on the recommended R&R fabric with WDW and DMC. I loved doing this one and I love seeing it hanging on the wall too!


Then was the Quaker a 6 Mains freebie, stitched on 40ct Lakeside Linen Pearled Barley with Dinky Dyes Midnight and Silk n Colors Wintered Grass. This took ages to do as I got distracted in the middle!


And last is Long Dog Samplers The Token, which I stitched one over one on 32ct lugana using Gloriana Cranberry. I need to scan it in to get a better picture, so I'll share that with you when I can.


I love all the SAL pictures. They look great!
